Hi, I'm Ancuta, an artist based in Paris, France. Galleria Obscura is a cabinet of lost and found treasures imagined and handcrafted by me.

I am a visual storyteller who bridges past and present, transforming the rich tapestry of photographic history into tangible, handcrafted objects. I weave narratives through ceramic and wax creations, breathing new life into Public Domain photographs and my own captured moments. My studies and my path in life brought me to be a photographer and cinematographer and today, using that craft, I am creating on different supports.

Each piece is a delicate dialogue between memory, art, and craftsmanship—inviting viewers to explore visual stories that transcend time and traditional artistic boundaries.
